Mark Slavik retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army. He led numerous organizations, commanding both Infantry and Armor battalions while serving as an Airborne and Ranger-qualified infantry officer. Mark helped build the nation’s first Homeland Response Force (HRF) for FEMA Region V, which responds to large-scale chemical, biological, and nuclear disasters to protect U.S. citizens.
During his civilian career, he held executive-level positions, helping to protect people and improve organizational effectiveness. Mark combines his military experiences with a love of Christianity to highlight the recent U.S. presidential administrations’ impacts on religious traditions and values, specifically, the ‘War on Christianity”.

Ignoring the rising attacks against Christians and their churches.
Facilitating the immigration of tens of thousands of non-Christians to change the Judeo-Christian moral foundation of the Republic fundamentally.

I doubt that even the great military strategist Sun Tzu (The Art of War) could have devised a more destructive campaign against America’s traditional values than the Biden Administration. The story of what happened between January 20, 2021, and January 20, 2025, is best told through characters in a fictional thriller. That thriller—The Fallen—is scheduled for release this fall by Christian Faith Publishing.
The novel asks: What if these policies weren’t just misguided, but part of a coordinated global effort to undermine America’s moral foundation? Did Biden orchestrate this war alone, or were others behind the scenes controlling the destructive outcomes—especially considering the visible cognitive decline he showed later in his term?
The author notes that Joe Biden did not originate “Washington’s War on Christianity” in the U.S. Many of the social and cultural destructive trends linked to this shift started under President Obama. However, Biden has been responsible for weaponizing the federal government on an unprecedented scale.
The goal is to prevent it from happening again. American Christians will be called upon once more to defend religious freedoms that could easily be lost, as already seen in the UK and Canada. We need the maturity and courage to prioritize policy over personality—a challenge in a country too often captivated by charismatic politicians.
We must support candidates who uphold the core Christian values of the faith—sanctity of life, the importance of the family, and the recognition of two genders—as well as the Republic’s founding freedoms: freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and the right to bear arms. Above all, our leaders must defend the Judeo-Christian principles that formed the bedrock of what George Washington called “the great experiment in self-government,” now known to the world as the United States of America.
