This Easter, as the world celebrates the Resurrection, four astronauts aboard NASA’s Artemis II are traveling around the Moon — reminding us that even as we reach farther into space, we never leave behind what matters most.
The crew launched from the Kennedy Space Center near Cape Canaveral, Florida, on April 1, 2026, as part of the Artemis program, NASA’s initiative to return humans to the Moon.
As Easter Sunday approaches, I wonder how the crew will celebrate it. Will they receive communion like Buzz Aldrin did during the Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969? Or read scripture (Genesis 1:1–10) as the Apollo 8 crew did on Christmas Eve, 1968.
From Apollo 11 to Artemis II, humanity reaches the Moon — but never leaves God behind.
But one thing remains unchanged: even at the limits of human reach, faith persists.
Easter isn’t confined to Earth. He is risen—everywhere!
