How one administration weaponized the federal government against faith.
Previously, I shared how The Fallen was inspired by the opening months of the Biden Administration—when I became deeply concerned by a growing hostility toward Christianity in public life.
I struggled to reconcile how a self-professed Catholic could wield the full force of the federal bureaucracy—its budgets, agencies, and regulatory power—to undermine the very Judeo-Christian values that helped make the United States the greatest nation on earth.
Over the coming weeks, I will lay out how President Biden set in motion policies that have tragically altered the country—pushing it down an anarchic path increasingly detached from the moral foundations that once made America unique.
Did this happen by accident? Hardly.
This was not a shadowy conspiracy in the Hollywood sense. Rather, it reflects something more dangerous and more common: oligarchic influence and elite capture. A small class of ultra-wealthy donors, foundations, and ideological power centers exert disproportionate influence over executive priorities, agency staffing, and regulatory outcomes.
Paraphrasing Ben Shapiro:
“This isn’t a conspiracy—it’s oligarchic influence operating through incentives and institutional alignment.”
The President need not be a mastermind. He needs only be a willing accomplice. When money, ideology, and bureaucracy move in the same direction, outcomes become predictable—not because of secret plotting, but because dissent is punished and compliance is rewarded.
A friend recently dismissed talk of a “War on Christianity,” arguing it has always existed. In one sense, that’s true. The war against Christianity began on Calvary.
But Christians are called to be faithful—not naïve.
If we wish to preserve religious liberty, we must understand how modern threats operate—not only through persecution, but through policy, regulation, and cultural coercion.
Taken together, the record reveals what may be the most openly anti-Christian administration in the history of the Republic. President Biden’s legacy should be judged accordingly, including:
- Expanding abortion in every possible form—while using federal power to harass, prosecute, and imprison pro-life Americans
- Promoting a radical gender ideology that confuses children and erodes the family
- Weaponizing the DOJ and federal agencies against Catholics and evangelical Christians
- Diverting billions into DEI programs that weaponize “equity” to engineer cultural division
- Ignoring escalating attacks on churches and Christians
- Facilitating mass immigration policies that dilute the nation’s Judeo-Christian moral framework
- Fueling radicalization in elite academic institutions hostile to Christianity, America, and even Judaism
- Transforming legacy media into a de facto propaganda arm of the administration
- Entrenching activist judges and bureaucrats to block future reform
Even Sun Tzu might marvel at the effectiveness of a campaign so destructive to a nation’s traditional values.
The story of what happened between January 20, 2021, and January 20, 2025, is almost best told through fiction. That story is The Fallen, a political-religious thriller releasing this fall through Christian Faith Publishing.
The novel asks: What if these policies weren’t merely misguided—but part of a coordinated effort to dismantle America’s moral foundation?
Joe Biden did not originate this war. Many of these trends began under President Obama. But Biden weaponized the federal government on an unprecedented scale.
Why tell this story now?
To ensure it never happens again.
Christians will be called upon once more to defend freedoms already eroding in places like the UK and Canada. That requires maturity—the ability to prioritize policy over personality.
We must support leaders who uphold the sanctity of life, the family, biological reality, and the foundational freedoms of the Republic: speech, religion, and self-defense.
First evidence we will examine: Executive Order 13985, signed on Biden’s first day in office—misbranded as compassion, but in reality a mechanism of control.
